It's simple!
The Evil Dead is a trilogy of horror movies directed by Sam Raimi. Ash, (played by Bruce Campbell), the main charactor and hero of all three, becomes a victom, challenger, and conquerer of the demons which have posessed his friends and loved ones. He must battle them and avoid and survive being posessed himself. Sound "Groovy"?

Bloody? Are these movies bloody?
You bet your sweet ass they are! There is more blood in just one movie then in the creatures of entire living Earth. Buckets and buckets of it. Litterally! The gore and ick just flows from the screen. You'll love it!

Ok. Most people would most likely remember the third movie of the trilogy, 'Army Of Darkness', but there are 2 other movies that preceed it. Evil Dead, And Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn. All the movies revolve around this book, The Book Of The Dead, or Necronomicon Ex Mortis. This book is more then just ink and paper and some words and pictures. It's pure EVIL! The incantations inside are the spells that awaken the dead from their very graves. Sound scary? Wait, there's more. The book is bound in flesh and inked in human blood. All who come in contact with it are pretty much doomed. Especially if they know how to read the fucked up language it's written in. And so the story begins.
